The first tip is to take a few step to get your snowboard moving in the same direction as the rope tow. The second tip is to figure out if the rope tow will be on the frontside or backside of your snowboard. The third to is to avoid the common mistake of holding onto the rope tow handle from behind. This makes it hard to hold on until the top and also to stay on top of your snowboard. The fourth tip is to be careful of the rut that snowboards can make along the rope tow. Try and go with flow of the rut and use your knees to absorb any bumps. The fifth beginner tip is to give the rope a little pull as you get off, to avoid the handle hitting you in the back. The final beginner tip is to prepare for the rope tow by practicing your skating and walking up hill on your snowboard. Thanks for watching this beginner snowboarding tutorial! If you have any questions you can leave them below. Be safe snowboarding and we'll see you in the next video!
