Hedeki Matsuyama Golf Swing Sequence Hedeki Matsuyama has burst onto the PGA Tour scene this year as one of the most successful young players we have seen in a while. It is no wonder he has done so well, since his swing mechanics are excellent. In this video we will go over how to 1. Properly Sequence the Transition 2. When to Shift Your Weight to the Left 3. How the Forearms Work in the Downswing Hedeki is somewhat know for his unorthodox transition. He seems to have a slight pause at the top of his swing before he starts the downswing. You will notice in this video that in fact there is no real pause, just a slowing of the club as he begins to shift to the left from the top. You will see in that the key to this is to create separation as you start your downswing. You can do this by shifting your hips and weight to the left while your body is still completing the backswing. That is exactly what Hedeki Matsuyama is doing here. He is creating this separation so that his muscles will be loaded and ready to fire in the downswing. In this swing sequence we will also be talking about how ball position can affect lag. With the ball positioned too far back in your stance it will give the appearance that the hands are releasing early, although your golf swing lag will still be very good in relationship to the ball. Have you been struggling with a flip in the downswing? If so, we will cover the proper motions of the right forearm which will enable you to limit the amount of flipping that is happening to the club in the downswing. I look forward to working with you much more in the future on your golf game! https://RotarySwing.com Hedeki Matsuyama Golf Swing Sequence: How to Transfer Your Weight https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PE3yTW-mTms
