Video: Kriya Yoga - What is Kriya Yoga?

✭✭✭✭✭ Kriya Yoga -- In today's video, we are going to be talking about what is Kriya Yoga? The opening mantra is one that calls in the guru in his physical, spiritual and divine forms to grace you with his presence and deliver spiritual evolution. I figured I could call in my guru, Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath for the making of this video, so he could assist me. Kriya Yoga, from my understanding of being a Westerner who has been practicing it now for about a year, is a meditation technique for quickening your spiritual evolution. It is the FASTEST technique known to man for your spiritual progress. What they say is that thirty seconds of the Kriya Yogic breathing techniques is the equivalent to a full year of spiritual evolution, from living a normal life, doing mantras, or maybe, studying at a church or with religious texts. Thirty seconds of Kriyic breathing is supposed to evolve you equally to a FULL year of your standard forms of spiritual progress. It is the fastest path for your spiritual progress. It's a meditation technique where you are sitting down. You can do it in anywhere from twenty minutes to hours and hours and HOURS. I know my guru would very often meditate sixteen plus hours per day. Myself, I've been doing it about an hour to two hours per day. But, you can easily do a practice in about twenty minutes. The results that I've seen in my life have been an increased feeling of peace, awareness, and understanding. I feel that my mental faculties have increased. I can "problem solve" much more easily. I am much less affected by the stresses, strains, and aggravation of reality. When people have problems, it doesn't enter into my being. I don't get EMOTIONALLY affected. I can maintain my joy and happiness. I have definitely seen an increase in joy, compassion, and purpose. I have only been practicing for a year now. So, I'm very clear that it's my life's path to continue practicing this for as long as it takes to get either enlightened or move even beyond enlightenment. If you are into Kriya Yoga, I would definitely suggest you checking out my guru's website because I am by no means the expert on all the scientific details of this science. But, if you would like to learn about the science of Kundalini Kriya Yoga go to which is my guru's website, Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath. On there you can find a very long detailed description about the scientific process that occurs in the body as one practices Kriya Yoga, and how it evolves your spiritual evolution and consciousness, as well as how it arrests the aging and decay process in the body. Kriya Yogins have a LOT of benefits to gain. Again, I am not the expert to speak on the subject yet. So, go to the website and check it out. Also, Yogiraj has a Youtube channel with over two hundred videos of him speaking on Yogic philosophy and Yogic science. If you would like to go and check him out, you can see him on Youtube at I hope that has answered the basic question of what Kriya Yoga is for you. I know a lot of people who are asking to get some more clarity on it. It's a seated meditation. It rapidly evolves your spiritual consciousness. It's a technique you have to learn from a master. It's passed on from master to disciple. If you are interested in learning it, please go to Yogiraj's website and check it out. Please comment below. Let me know if there is anything in there you would like clarity on. As always, thank you for joining me. I appreciate it!
